I'm getting a crestie on saturday! Woohoo! I'm dead excited!
Just wanted to ask for any advice on what I should be doing as preparation for its arrival and anything I should do instantly once it has arrived?
I'll try to get a photo of my setup later this week aswell!
Want to make sure I get it right as this will be the first reptile I have ever kept!
Thanks _________________

Congratulations!!! shouldn't need to do anything special to prepare, so long as you viv is set up ready you should be fine, perhaps make sure you have some food ready (ask what it's already eating).
A photo of your setup would be good when you get a chance. _________________

Congrats - sooo exciting isn't it - every new addition is special but the very first one.... remember when we got Bud - our first, chose our baby and got all the stuff then had to wait a whole week whilst we prepared and tested her new home - we were at the shop as the doors opened after Xmas break!
Good luck & many happy years together! |

Okay, said I would get some pics of the setup so here they are!
I'm supposedly getting the gecko 2moro so excitement has changed slightly into panic lol.. so anything wrong with the setup then please tell me so I can make some last minute fixes!
Its a large faunarium, as it is a baby cresty that I'm getting..
I've tried to put lots of climbing places and foliage but now I'm not sure if its too cramped! Opinions? Suggestions?
Thanks!!!!
PS photos taken on my phone so a lil poo lol _________________

Nice little setup,
I would perhaps take out a plant and add more branches so there is more open space to jump around and hunt effectively, but TBH, it is fine as it is.

Thanks mememe! I've put a smaller plant in instead of the big one now, but left the big leaf in so it looks more open now It did seem a bit cramped in there!
Shoved a lil peice of cork back in there too.. does cork bark need to be sterilised in some way?
I'm a bit anxious atm lol _________________
