Excuse the title guys, but my most local pet / reptile shop are making me VERY angry.
They have been a dump for ages and never look after their animals, but things are getting worse.
The reptiles are all kept upstairs and you can only go up if you ask them. There are BIIIIG snakes in SMALLLLL vivs. Loads of beardies with UV but no basking light. A Caiman with nothing but water, thats it, an iggy with mesh all over the floor, baby burms with mites, its just sickening.
The place needs to be shut down.
Would any of you know the best person to contact? I am in the South East.
I dont mind doing the legwork here guys, something has to be done.
Many Thanks

Your local council is responsible for issuing licences to these people. If the shop is not maintaining certain basic standards, complain to the council and they can revoke the licence or get them shut down. |

I remember Rick. In and out as you said. It was during that really hot weather and he had more or less everything turned off if I remember rightly.
Wasn`t the sort of place I would visit again. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

Yep thats the one Pete. I am sure this is the one that Gary S refers to, as I distinctly rememeber the stairs in the centre of the shop that lead up to herps. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

You guys are indeed referring to the right one.
Something needs to be done and i'm pretty clueless about who to contact.

I think the council as suggested by LOL93. I am not a fan of the RSPCA. But thye may call them in anyway, all depends how strongly you feel about it and if you wish to take action, a tough choice to make. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
