... to the board but no too new to reptiles... I live in the UK (now) and ever since I was this high *holds hand a foot off the floor* I have loved our scaley friends... I kept a turtle and lizards (NZ common skink and Common brown Geckos) when I was younger and now I am keeping turtles (2 false maps) and about to get a couple of rankins for my kids... Looking forward to our new family members getting here (pick them up next sunday)... anywho just popping in to say Hi...
Oh and I also kept frogs of all kinds (well NZ kinds anyway) when younger and now have a newt and fish too... |

Welcome to the forum, hope you find it useful here.
So what species did you keep in NZ? I`m not too familiar with the herp fauna out there. Some pictures would be great. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

Hi there, thanks for the welcomes... the skinks were just called common skinks (brown body with darker brown stripes) and the Geckos were the common brown ones that were mottled brown all over... there are some restrictions to keeping reps in NZ but not sure what they are now... (things have changed since I kept them oh so many years ago...) and when I did have them digital cameras hadnt been invented yet... (uh oh... showing my age now...lol)... _________________ Banish Uncertainty; Affirm Strength; Hold Resolve; Expect Death - 365 Dao; Dao Happens.
