Well here are some of my baby gargoyles from this years season. As you can see they all tend to be pretty light or white, all the babies have turned out like this. They all came out of the egg nearly black with thin white stripes and have changed to these colours over the last fw months. Chilima came out of the egg really dark and now is white!

Eric (this one never stays still, it has really yellow lines down its back but you cant really see them as it never stays still!)

Chilima (this one goes completely white but today she wasn't in the mood)

Chilima

One of the newest hatchlings, 2 weeks ago this baby was nearly completely black! all this years babies have seemed to go really light.

By the way i didn't name any of the babies (i dont normally bother) my mates all insisted on naming one. Chilima is an african boys name (or so my african mate tells me).

Very nice. How many did you hold back then? I've kept four of mine this year. However, one is a male so I'll probably let him go (I already have two males).

I have kept back 3 so far, i have 2 that only hatched 3 weeks ago so i am keeping them for another few weeks to see how they turn out and i have 2 eggs still cooking, sold 11 babies this year so far, there was some stunners in the ones i have sold.

I have had 16 babies hatch so far, the parents and about a 50/50 split of motled and striped yet all but one babie are striped.

You got any pictures of your male?? i may be looking for a male in the next month or two as i only have one.

Sorry for the delay Budda, here is the male:

He goes very pale (almost white).

And a pic of his bits (just to show he's a boy), note the preanal pores rather than bulge:
