how big will a viv need to be for an adult spiney tail monitor?

You could use a 3ft x 2ft x 2ft or a 4ft x18" x 2ft (w,d,h)

My vivs are 34" x 30" x 18" which 7 sq ft of floor space.

Also very important to get a great basking spot, but without over heating the whole viv.

I have mine in a 48x15x18 Viv which is OK. But I'd prefer a 4x2x2 for him though due to how active he is. Unfortunately space is tight at the mo, so this will have to wait.

ok.how long do they take to become adult size.
also he/she takes 4-5 medium cricks every 3 days is this too much much or should i give him/her more and more often.although he/she wont eat if he/she has had enough.

If your able to build one that big GO FOR IT! Your Ackie will only appreciate the space. Also try to make the Viv as interesting as possible, It keeps his little brain occupied.

p.s he/she is about 3 inches long.i got him from the essex show.the man with the ponytail to the left of you.lol and my monitor seems to sleep alot?? im just a bit new to lizards! lol

That really doesn't sound like a lot at all. How big is S/He?

When there young you can't over feed them.
