there could be a few reasons Mark, the only morph that I know people breed more visual to het seems to be the pied, pied males seem very lazy breeders so a few use a het male to visual females. Other reasons may be simply because someone can't afford two visuals so they work with hets and one visual. _________________

there's certainly no advantage if you have a visual pair that will breed. Some people will also use a het male as a back up. _________________

You sure did give one away
I know for boa's one type of morph for boa's (not sure it it's one of the albinos) but visual x visual have problems.... Can't remember what it was cause I'm not interested in boa's so it didn't stick in my mind but it would have been still born babies.
But never heard of this with Royals and Scott has pretty much covered the reasons for het x visual. |
