I was asked to design a poster for the local community project that shows both the dark and light sides of life in Glasgow. Basically it's to encapsulate the fact that yes, we may have a problem with drugs and knife crime, but there's also a lighthearted humour about our people, obviously that's what the bear is symbollic of. I've been floating a few ideas about and this is the best thus far. So if anyone has any suggestions please feel free ...

I would move the bear further back or move the joint so you can see the whole of the bear.I would also try and focus on the bear and try and keep the drugs, needle etc in the "dark" as it were..

Mememe, I'm a chef by trade with a well stocked kit, believe me, you don't want to be smoking my secret blend of herbs! Laughing

Stu, I'll have a play around tomorrow and see what I get, good idea mate!

Something more like this? I know the focus is still a little off, so I'll work on it.

Thats better..I would get the whole of the syringe in the shot and set the bear off to the right handside more..that way it will all fit..I would still try and darken the foreground if it were me..

Maybe make up a wrap out of card?? Could you keep the bad part in black and white and have the positives in colour?!?!?!

Cheers guys, I'm a little out of my depth with this sort of photo, so this is appreciated! I'll try out what you're saying, and get back to you! Very Happy Since I'm using the camcorder I need to rely on artificial light (big spot bulb) so I'll have a play and try and cast a shadow over the foreground.

Pete, what do you mean by a wrap mate? And I was actually considering bringing the colour back into the bear, fools rarely differ huh? Laughing
