my idea is to cut a hole in the top of my viv screw a stiff mesh to the inside of the viv covering the whole then slot the reflector fitted with ceramic into the hole and resting on the mesh what do you reckon ? _________________ boas and burms |

Not sure what you mean, would the heater be in the viv or above it?

above it with a hole for the heat to beam down through and mesh fixed to the roof of viv on iside to stop burm from getting to ceramic

I see. You don`t like the cage option then? Makes it a bit easier if you have vivs in tiers and want to add to it later.
I know it looks a bit ugly though.

Don't use a reflector then!!I never have and never had problems with the ceramic not getting the temps right..tbh sounds like your making it harder than it needs to be..just fit it inside a place a guard around it. _________________

ok monkey sounds good to me its just those ceramics get bloomin hot dont they my chams one does _________________ boas and burms |
