I put my two males in to one of my females this morning. And two hours later, the males are wrestling! Now I just have to play God, and decide who´s the winner.
I have been taking some pictures, they will come up here later.. _________________ *** Miqe ***

Sorry to hear about yours Scott, baby ammodytes are so cute. Best of luck with breeding them morbid, have you found male combat usually results in successful offspring? _________________ Regards James Stroud |

I saw the post.. You will probably have greater success if you hibernate the animals.. _________________ *** Miqe ***

Well.. They usually trig eachother into breeding, but if it resulting in any offspring.. I dunno.. I would say that it is the females condition it depends on. If all animals are hibernated. _________________ *** Miqe ***

What rules and regulations do you have in the U.K regarding keeping Vipera ammodytes? Does it vary, depending on where you live? _________________ *** Miqe ***

England is covered by the DWAA (dangerous wild animals act) this legislation requires you to have a license issued by your local 'government' and to have liability insurance. Each local authority has different requirements on what they are looking for before issuing a DWA license, some even refuse POINT BLANK (this is unlawful but most people don't challenge it), they are also free to charge whatever they wish for the license. This charge ranges from £55 up to way over £1000 per year!.
Insurance can also be expensive.
What about in Sweden? _________________
