First reptile to bite me was a common or viviparous lizard (the first of many!) that I caught as a child. I remember being totally shocked by it as it was by no means the first one I had ever caught, not by a mile, just the first feisty one I had caught. Didn`t hurt of course.
First captive reptile to bite me, again as a child, was a Tokay. It just did not occur to me, at that age and level of experience, for one second that it might. Of course it did, and yes it DID hurt too! Embarassed Laughing

Sorry to lower the tone, Pete was that at a bar called Loathsome?

I was bitten by my first true love. Alison Carpenter I was 15! I still have the scars where she broke my heart. Sorry but my therapist said to discuss this at every available opportunity, thank you.

Crying or Very sad Very Happy

When I was a kid I was always searching out insects etc. One day I found, and I kid ye not, the biggest ever grasshoper I HAD EVER SEEN IN ALL MY LIFE, IT WAS FICKIN HUGE BIG TIME. Do you get the point it was a big M/F. I picked it up and held it in my hand, it bit me big time, so I let it go. No one believed me as I was a kid when I told them about the huge hopper! But is was seriously huge. I've never ever seen one that big again to this day!.

How about a scorpian sting, does that count as a bite?

I had a emperor scorpian many years ago, it was kept under a uv 'black light', this made him glow bright emerald green (amazing if you have never seen this!) Anyway, being a young teenager we had a party...lots of alcohol and people....so I decided to show the scorpian to a few people...little bugger stung me in the arm...I couldn't move it for a few hours and it was totally numb. Woke up the next day with a headache but I think that was the booze Embarassed
