How have you got the eggs setup? ie are they in a tub with a lid and then inside the incubator? What incubation medium are you using and how did you calculate the water to add to it? What sort of incubator are you using? I would suggest turning the temp down to 84, and open the tub up to allow air exchange and check to see how moist the medium around the eggs is, a short time out of the incubator won't hurt them at all. I recently lost 17 eggs out of a 19 egg clutch because the female laid them in the wrong place and they dehydrated too much, I tried to save them but I think it was too late, I have 2 that are doing really well now though. the usual reasons for them denting this early on are, infertile eggs, drying out, and the incubator temp fluctuating without you realising, I've had that problem myself. _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Hi i have them in a homemade poly fish box the eggs are in a plastic tub with no lid with vermiculite just damp that when squeezed no water drips out also i have a small tub with water in at the side of plastic tub all the eggs are not touching each other they dont seem to have gone yellow yet but 1 or 2 of them had and shrunk to nearly flat. _________________ G Peel

Has this female laid eggs before? Sometimes the first batch can be infertile, but the following clutches are fine. Its likely that the two that have shrunk are not going to make it, if the turn yellow get them out of there so not to affect the others. Il PM you my setup thats worked for me for beardie eggs. I used 81F because allow the temp in the setup was 83, the temp in the actual box of eggs was slightly higher so at 81 in the setup the temp inthe box should be good. _________________ Sophxx

Hi
I would put a lid on your egg boxes this will help to keep the humidity up.
