Any one recommend a decent, easy to use digital for around the £250 mark? I know its been asked before but wanted any up to date models included.

Any one know if the PENTAX K100D SUPER DSLR 18-55 LENS is any good. Think the wife has bought me one for my birthday. I'm no expert photographer but it must be better than my old canon 35mm, which by the way did take excellent pics. What do you think Stuart, honest opinion appreciated.

Heres a review mate.. http://www.ephotozine.com/article/Pentax-K100D-Super-1 tbh I would only go for nikon or canon..but thats just me..lot more lenses available for nikon and canon too. Its probably a good first dslr reading the reviews but would have liked it to have more than 6.1mp although if your not blowing things up big shouldn't matter.

I brought a Nikon D60 on Stu's advice. I love it..

It is a bit higher than you want to pay out but I have found that when you start here the costs seem to get worse. Everything just seems soo expensive.

They are doing a cashback offer on the Nikon's at the moment but I do think it is now only on the D60. You can pick this up for the £400 mark and with £60 off brings it down nicely. Still a bit more than you wanted to pay but I will say again, I love this camera. I now just NEED to learn how it works properly.
