My male kenyan sand boa has gone off his food for a while now as he usually does Very Happy

but he is off his food a lot longer than usual and when i handled him today he seemed a lot skinnier Crying or Very sad

He was active, breathing ok, just done as he usually does when i take him out Very Happy

but he is getting skinnier Crying or Very sad

Anyone know why or anyone going through this with there boas???

could be the time of year...I would weigh him so you know if he has actually lost any weight..I wouldn't panic if he appears healthy.

oh dear, i hope you dont end up having to tube feed him!!! its one thing doing it with a baby royal, i wouldny fancy having to do it wi a full grown sand boa!!! have they got big teeth??? Twisted Evil

if he is not losing too much weight i wouldnt worry, but if you can feel him losing then i would get him looked at by the vet, just to put your mind at rest.
