My male kenyan sand boa has gone off his food for a while now as he usually does but he is off his food a lot longer than usual and when i handled him today he seemed a lot skinnier He was active, breathing ok, just done as he usually does when i take him out but he is getting skinnier Anyone know why or anyone going through this with there boas??? _________________ http://johonny.proboards66.com/index.cgi

could be the time of year...I would weigh him so you know if he has actually lost any weight..I wouldn't panic if he appears healthy. _________________

oh dear, i hope you dont end up having to tube feed him!!! its one thing doing it with a baby royal, i wouldny fancy having to do it wi a full grown sand boa!!! have they got big teeth???  _________________

if he is not losing too much weight i wouldnt worry, but if you can feel him losing then i would get him looked at by the vet, just to put your mind at rest. _________________
