This is Riyaz, a normal male burm,he was hatched last July 7,2006 but he is growing in a very slow pace at only 42 inches and at 1 and a half years old. Do you think he is a runt?

he is being fed with 3-5 adult mice every other week. |

I would have him on small to medium rats every 5-7 days mate.. _________________

I've been trying to do that as well but he seems contented after having 5 adult mice at the most but he will try to eat after 10 days sometimes. |

Don't feed him for a week then offer a rat..must cost you a fortune feeding him loads of mice..pointless mate...unless he hates rats. _________________

he doesn't hate them but he seems afraid of them. |

Do you have to tease feed or will he take off the floor?..if so just leave it outside his hide at night and should be gone by morning.. _________________

He is comfortable eating inside and outside his container but i never leave a live food overnight. |

he may be small but he is absolutely beautiful. and again an amazing name. rats are more nutritious, but i have some that absolutely will not touch them. _________________
