This was from a het-granite to het-granite and has a marked banding pattern. A new banded morph??

very interesting animal. IF this animal comes from pure het granite Irian Jaya's than it looks like a mutant. It'll be interesting to see how and if this is heritable. Of course it'll have to be heritable to be a real mutant.
It does look a bit like the jungle zebra's. I have had the feeling that the granite and zebra are mutations in the same gene, with granite giving a more extreme pattern mutation. Time will tell.
