If you buy a snake from a shop and it has mites, it should be the shops responsibility to help/replace or refund.
A lot have a sign up saying after 48hrs they are no longer responsible, others relinquish responsibilty as soon as they have your money.
Others are absolutely terrific Laughing

The problem with mites is if an adult female mite has laid eggs in teh enclosure, even if you treat the snake the new mites will hatch out and reinfest.
So you need a cure all solution.
ENTER provent a mite.
Read and follow instructions to the letter and be mite free for ever.
The guy below is the only person I know that stocks it. About £29 incuding p&p and worth every penny
glen chandler of jungle phase

hope helps and remember follow instructions very very carefully

They can spread to all your vivs and infest all your snakes if you do not take prompt action to eradicate them.
They have been known to bite humans.

that will do the job if you only have a few snakes. Completely cover the snake in this, making sure you FOLLOW the instructions on the bottle.

To buy it, use google and type in T rex Mite Off Wink
