i had to warm the defrost rats up in warm water before they took them but they seemed to like them in the end .

Great to see them taking the rats but my only concern would be that they are not seperated during feeding time.Could you not put one in a tub and feed it and then swap over for the other one and feed that.It makes for much less hassle in the long run.

Please dont take this the wrong way as i am only trying to help.

they are fab snakes that have always lived in the same viv ,unlike my other snakes that are all seperated . i get great enjoyment out of watching these feed and so literally sit there and watch them every time they get fed unlike the royals etc where i simply toss their food in and leave them to it . i havent had a spot of bother from these chaps and they seem very tolerant of each other where as when they were younger , they wouldnt feed if there was movement about . they are angolans for those who havent seen them before .

Really gotta agree here. I'm all for believing that snakes shouldn't be housed together and indeed especially not fed in the same enclosure. I've seen it once where 2 snakes took hold of the same prey item, despite being given individual feed and one started eating the other. Fortunately, the owner was quick and experienced enough to sort it out, but it could have been a lot worse.

thanks mat e. they were CB 06 (july) so that would make them 1.5 yrs old roughly . they were bred in germany and i collectd them from houten in oct last year . they were being fed every 10 days whilst they were young as this was advised to me but i have since started to feed them every 5 or 6 days and they look all the better for it . they are really coming along well and the cheeky male has lost a lot of his attitude he had as a whipper . i estimate them to be about 1 metre long now . havent weighed them yet so am unsure of their weight .

As for the warning , apreciate the advise all .
