hi everyone..I'm sure there are many very experienced reptile keepers on here and so i hope you can help me out.

i currently have a gecko living in one of my dart frog Viv's. it was found in someones luggage at customs. i have no clue as to what species it is.

but here are some pictures

because it came in the viv,when i bought the viv,with the two dartfrogs in in the viv.fully set up,liveing fine together for 2 years!

Shocked so you have 2 Cb animals which need a humid rainforest enviroment and stick a WC (techincly) gecko you know nothing about in with them? not real good for the gecko that aside what about your tincs? parasites agression from the gecko all sorts of things to affect and infest your tincs! Rolling Eyes

I'm not sure, I mean, do you know at least what country it's from? Doesn't look like it would be from the type of environment that your darts are from though, probably a lot drier climate species (just a guess).

pretty certain its Hemidactylus mabouia a species of house gecko. i have to agree that i probably wouldn't keep it with them either due to the reasons stated by others.

right..hes in his own viv..now what do i do with him...as stated i know nothing about it....so how the hell do i keep it...if i keep it humid like my frogs it might be wrong!!!!!!!!!,if i keep it dry it might be wrong!!!!!!!!!!.....sand???leaf litter?peat????
