Whilst I do hope that he can secure retrospective planning. This does raise a questions to why he thought it acceptable to try and do it without planning permission?

Planning laws may be irritating and at time appear pointless but we all have to stick to them.

Never the less good luck .

That's a right kick in the b@#LL:@KS if they decline planning permission Shocked seems flipping stupid that he can park a tractor in the building and it is allowed to remain but to breed animals in it and he may have to pull it down! It's either a blight on the countryside or not, irrelevant of what the use of it is.

I thought there was a four year law....if it is up and running for more than 4 years it is allowed to remain?

Thats a bit of Stupid legislation for sure,Jerrys not a bad guy and i can't understand why its suddenly a blight on the landscape when there no one around to see it anyway.

Perhaps he could paint it with a matching landscape scene or something.

Also it's only retrospective for change of use. Not the actual building itself, so going from agricultural to whatever he's planning on, A1 maybe??

Mr Cole is seeking retrospective permission for a change of use from agricultural to the breeding of exotic animals at Purlands Farm on Bridport Road

It's not as if he has built the place recently for this.

All the best Jerry with this Very Happy
