Look at what hatched on friday night...

I'm not saying what it is yet - I want to see if anyone can guess lol (should be easy cos of the forum section it in lol

In the tub where it hatched




In the plastic tank where it will be housed for now

My guess is Rhacodactylus sarasinorum from what I have seen from pictures

Blimey they're huge Surprised. I agree s/he is indeed cute. How many other eggs are you incubating currently, is the clutch mate of the little hatchling expected too? Congrats once again

the hatchling looks really pink lol and yer the parents are big!

Jo - I couldn't believe how orange it was considering the parents colour but I think it will darken off as it grows.
They are much bigger than cresties in length but I do have cresties that are heavier. The clutchmates egg failed early on in incubation but I do have another 1 egg due in July.
Hopefully I should be producing a few more this year but it depends on Mrs Sarasin!
