there was a thread about this sort of thing a few months ago but I can't find it try sifting through stuff I know it's in snakes general.

thanks paul, i will look. i tried getting it all out before he swallowed it, but it was well down, i managed to cut some off though. jeez i just hope he is ok!!!!!!! Crying or Very sad

just saw this , probs be fine , keep eye on as said tho , paper is made from cellulose so it should break down fairly easily in a stomach of a snake with a pH 1 level !!

Hi Lynne,

This sort of thing happens quite a lot.

Paper isn't going to be a problem.

Snakes often ingest towels(not paper), sweatshirts etc they always just pass through. I haven't heard of any that went pear shaped!!
