Glad you had a good time! |
I didn't see any but to be honest I was not looking for them. There were however quite a few Rudis there. I was tempted but also was trying to conserve some euros, all to easy to be like a kid in a sweet shop over there. I did make a couple of impulse purchases but the majority (85%) was planed. Hehe, how many animals did you buy in the end? _________________

Sounds like you had a fab time Rick!
I can't wait until I get the opportunity to go - like you, I think i'll just be like a kid in a sweet shop.....all those lizards! At least in most shops over here i'm fairly contained, as they seem to mostly focus on snakes or have WC's....but if I was confronted with a vast quantity of CB geckos and chameleons....well, I don't know how i'd cope
Out of interest, were there many amphibs? Poison darts in particular? _________________ Sophie

Yes there were quite a lot of amphibians. Quite a few tables just specialising in Dart frogs and a few tables with mixtures of herps and general amphibians. A nice range of Pumilio Darts were available, quite stunning a lot of them. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

hey had a great time got some mad cheap bits and bobs at the end of the day. managing to haggle someone down on some pummillos to around 25 euros each!!!! i think he was just wanted to get rid of them and he looked knackered that let my mate keep most of his wallet together.
didn't get too much. chinese water snakes, burrowing frogs, loads of red eyed treefrogs.
all in al was very good but aso very hot. def going again and really recommend it, just dress lightly and just carry money and nothing else, take in a poly box and put it in the creche once done with! _________________ WWW.EXOTICSANDTROPICS.COM
