I was at Australia zoo a week ago, and saw all of his work he's put into animals. Very sad news.

"Police say he was stung through the heart by a stingray while diving off Port Douglas."

I was diving off Port Douglas about a week and a half ago round the low Isles
and Mackay Reef. Very close to home.

Really really sad. My daughter always enjoyed watching his show with me and he may have been a bit of a nutter but his passion for what he did was never in doubt and his enthusiasm was contagious.

im absolutely gutted this guy was a legend
