Leachies do seem to be more readily available in the UK now compared to a few years ago. I waited and searched for ages to get my first leachie (at least a couple of years) and in the end I got her from Hamm. That was five years ago. I ended up travelling all the way down to Dorset (7+ hour journey), two years ago to get my male. They aren't as widely available as they are in Europe or the US, but it is becoming easier to get them in the UK.
Personality wise, there isn't really that much difference between the sexes. I have found my female to be grumpier than usual during the breeding season. My male on the other hand has become much more confident. Before he was introduced to the female he was quite skittish in his viv. Now I can put my hand in and he won't run off. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

The female laid her first clutch six weeks after they mated (twice). Sadly they weren't fertile. I'm putting them together again on Tuesday for a few days this time, so fingers crossed it'll be more of a success. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie
