And he apologized Rolling Eyes If you don't like the picture then don't open the thread Wink

As for the destructive species thing feral cats have wiped out some of Australia's (and the worlds) most interesting and unique animals.

Interesting pic man Cool

Laughing Laughing Laughing

I often hear people harping on about how good their dog or cat is at killing animals, let alone the pleasure which people take from describing how their beloved pet "plays with the lizards for hours".
This is simply an interesting photo of a snake securing a large prey item. I'm sure I've got one of a dog being eaten by an albino burm if anyone wants to see it. I love dogs and I'm partial to the odd cat myself, but "disgusting" I think not.

The interesting thing is identifying the snake, looks like an eastern carpet to me, but the front third is very jamaican boa.

I don't think the snake came off worse in this one. Wink

I have tried to get more info about it but nothing as yet.

Al

i can see both sides of this argument.
But im with Drymarchon32 on this one.
I don't find this disgusting.
And yes i do have a cat. And i love it dearly.
Then what is this difference between someone killing a mouse and feeding it to a snake.
And i doubt that that cat knew about it for very long. Wink
I guess curiosity killed the cat
Thanks all Nick Rolling Eyes

I was thinking exactly the same, or possibly a scrub locale? Then again the building does look quite Caribbean Laughing

My thoughts exactly, but the back half of the snake is def. carpet. Must be a nice morph.

Thanks for editing the post, I'm sure more people have looked at it since you did Smile

Nothing wrong with the pic. I always like to see wildlife fight back against a very destructive invasive species. I've seen pics of carpets that have fed on cats before. Actually I'm amazed a snake that size could kill a cat.
When people complain about cats killing birds and lizards cat owners say its just nature, nothing wrong with it. But when a dog or snake kills a cat its suddenly disgusting? A little hypocritical I think.
