Had a lucky escape this morning, went into the crested gecko room only to find the extract vent had blown off the air con unit, this meant the hot exhust air was blowing back into the room. This then made the air con unit work even harder trying to cool the room...which obviously meant EVEN MORE hot exhust air pumping into the room.
Temperature had reached 105f, checked all the cages and all the geckos looked fine. I gave every cage a good misting with cool water and brought the room temp back down to 78f.
Fingers crossed that they all survived, pretty sure they will be ok.
