I agree with Scott W the snake is not going to cope with solid food at the moment.
This snake needs serious attention.
Firstly re-hydration is the priority with an electrolyte solution. ( Which I am sure you collected from you vet when you visited over the last four day).
Then start feeding with egg and a good vit. supplement added.
Both these should be administered by tube feeding. Personally I think this is far less stressful than force feeding solid items.
IF the animal starts to pick up then you can start trying to feed it with solid items or of course carry on tube feeding it with a suitable liquidized high quality carnivore food mixture. http://www.venomdoc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2552
Good luck.

Have to remember that one |
I have a royal about 4.5 foot long And I have tryed her on Mice/ Rats /Gerbils /Hamster / Quail all she will feed on is DOC (Day old chick) and she looks good on um. But when I first got her she came to me in a sock 18 inch long half dead and no energy to try and eat I think she had given up on life. Now a happy story I think.....indeep |

some sound advice.
I won't even feed my snakes a large prey item when i wake them up after just a few months winter cooling. first meals are always small, for example, 6ft bull snake will get, at the most, a small/medium mouse as her first meal after winter cooling. then gradually put them back up to appropriate prey items. reason? Scott W mentioned earlier about the stomach being a little too sensitive, you also need to consider the kidneys and liver?!
admittedly I'm a little over cautious perhaps but in your case you don't have the luxury of chance at this stage.
I hope you can turn this around, I really do. perhaps when the snake is big enough you could try DOC as 'indeep' seems to have a success story with chicks

When i got her the 'scars' weren't apparent, it was after her first shed these showed. I can honestly say i don't know want they are from.
IMO, how can an animal with killer instincts be stressed by a mouse? _________________ A lil bit of Madagascar

Because they do not have 'killer instincts' but survival instincts, this may mean eat a mouse or it may mean 'run like hell' away from it...the snake in the wild has that choice, take the choice away and stress appears _________________
