Hi everyone.
I got a free fish tank yesterday whilst I was at the tip. Saw someone throwing it away and I couldn't bear to let it go, so I asked him for it! It's about 2.5-3 foot long and about 1.5 feet high by about the same in depth. Only a plain fishtank without a hood, but well worth it for free I'd say
My question is what would everyone else do with it? I have loads of vivs setup at the moment and am always looking for someone to tempt me with an idea for another project. What would you all set it up for and how would you do it?
Mwahahahaha...the addiction to my ever growing menagerie is creeping in..... |

A mate of mine has about the same size tank, and he built a wooden frame around the top, then added a mesh door onto the front, stuck a heatmat on the back, added some branches and some substrate (door started about 6" from the ground) and voila! a nice new home for his crestie! works realyl well and looks nice. _________________ [3.2.6 R.Ciliatus|1.4.7 R.Auriculatus

Thank guys...I think the most common theme was dart frogs. I keep a pair of D.tinctorius patricia at the moment and they are great. I have to say I was thinking along the lines of a good sized group of either mantellas or larger dendrobates such as galacs or auratus....hmmmm....still open to suggestions though (god I'm easily led). |

get a slug, and keep him in there, with a big lettuce and a flower pot hide, and put a bit of salt around the rim at the top, thatl stop him getting out, no need for a lid then!! haha.that is by far the BEST suggestion on here and you all know it!! yay for Slugs! _________________ [3.2.6 R.Ciliatus|1.4.7 R.Auriculatus
