Here's a pic of the first of my IJ x jungle jag hatchies that has shed. Next to it is a (preshed) sib for contrast.



I like the way the pattern fades towards the tail. Can't wait for the rest to shed and to see how these will develop. There are some in there that look even better to me than this one. I'll certainly hold on to one or two jags and sibs to see what happens with them.

The baby jag looks great, will the brown shades change as it grows up as in IJs?

Very likely yes, but as to how this one will change is unclear. Both IJs and jungles change a lot as they grow, but I just don't know what this combination will look like eventually. I do expect good yellow for sure, but am not sure what the different brown areas will look like.
