Squirrel Monkeys - So they're not Dangerous Wild Animals, but I still feel they need some sort of 'protection' in the form of a license (based on your experience and level or care you can give them - rather than how much money you can fund the local council with!). I feel they are much more at risk to poor standards of care etc.
I would love to get a mangrove snake though! _________________

Thanks for that, nice to know.
Can anyone find me a pair or even a single Boiga dendrophila multicincta for October?
Any help always appreciated.

I agree totally, at least having them on there is a good thing in form of protection, the cost will hopefully still put alot of people off keeping them, I think because its quite specialist ie you cant buy them in every pet shop or even many, that hopefully the people selling will take it on themselves to be more strict im sure alot are already very strict about who they sell primates to, but theres always gonna be a few who just see £££ signs |

Can't say I really agree with you there Tom. Granted they need the correct care etc but why should they be protected from idiots anymore than say a Rabbit or a Puppy?
I'm glad to see that many animals have been removed that were clearly NOT a risk to the public and that they openly admit were there on welfare grounds instead.
Hopefully the new AWB (if managed correctly) will take care of the welfare concerns of ALL animals. _________________
