Those are awesome snakes mate. Your Gaboon looks like the one's you find in Cameroon.

Yes. In equatorial Africa they are actually fairly common, ranging across the equatorial belt, eventually crossing with the Easterns.

gaboons are some of my favorite. they do lay around quite a bit but when they move they really move.
