Solifugids (a.k.a Camel Spiders) native to the Middle East which is why these soldiers in Iraq have got a picture of them. They're pretty nasty things if you wanna read up on them, but at the same time available from wholesalers Laughing

I saw some of these when I was in Afghanistan in 2002. They really are nasty bleeders!

There were a lot of wild tortoises wandering around as well! Smile

Yeah...they are amazing (if a little scary)! Look a bit like face huggers from the Alien films! Wouldn't particularly want to keep one, but fascinating all the same.
