how much humidity do you guys use when incubating,non tropical species e.g storri,kimberlys&ridgetails. |

never actually measured mine, but I tend to keep eggs on the drier side. Use two inch of vermiculite as norm, then add 1 inch min of perlite on top to stop the eggs coming into contact with the vermiculite, this keeps them a little drier.

Thanks Scott,i haven't had any yet,but i like to have everthing as ready as possible,as i've been caught unaware several times in the past with various animals.She's been digging around the nest box,basking alot and eating anything that dares to go near her.Fingers crossed ay  |

Scott, just to clear up some confusion I have with your technique..
So you use a vermiculite/water mixture(of unknown ratio) on the bottom, and then bone-dry perlite on top- which the eggs sit upon?
Wasn't sure if the perlite was mixed with water also.. Interesting approach. |
