I have placed the eggs in a cricket box in the viv, on the heat mat (heat mat is on the bottom of the tank) is this ok ? |

I think it could get very hot for the eggs in this way. However, I would suggest to place a thermometer inside the viv making sure temps do not exceed 80 degrees F. I usually keep temps at a constant 77-78 degrees. |

I meant to say to place a thermometer inside the cricket box...I can see you already have one inside the viv...  |

Thanks for the advice Frank, I have now moved them to the cool end of the viv and will try to pick up a thermometer for the box  |

Instead of starting a new thread thought I'd might as well post the picture here. They were laid on 12/04/07 and this picture was taken on 20/04/07.
They are just being kept at room temperature, which ranges from around 70-75 degrees. _________________ 1.1.1 Crested Geckos
