My son has 5 yr old male Yemen Chameleon whose health has been deteriorating over the past couple of months. I was advised that 5 yrs is about the maximum age for a male Yemen and so I accepted that his deteriorating health has been due to old age.
However, now he is so frail he has to be hand fed (virtually putting the food in his mouth) and is barely strong enough to climb, also his eyes seem to have 'glazed' over. Is this what normally happens? |

My best advice would be a trip to the vets. Male Yemen's can live quite a bit longer than this and sometimes not. Sorry to sound blunt, I dont mean to be but the vets is the best option to see exactly what may be wrong with him. It could well be age related and probably is. Good luck. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

I had considered taking him to the vets, but my son thinks he is so poorly and gets so stressed by being moved, the trip itself would probably kill him. |
