is this a good deal??
big terrarium, substrate, light fixtures and 60w bulb 4 large silk plants and two unsexed red crested geckos, from what iv seen they are dalamation or striped) for £175? it stands when ever i am ready to get it and if the geckos sell there will b plenty more avalable
i live near a woodland so i can get branches ect from there.
also what does red crested gecko mean?
only problem i can see happening is that the 2 geckos end up being male and ill have to sell one other than that what does everybody think? |

Well it sounds an ok deal without seeing anything. I would personally not advise getting two geckos to keep in one viv as your first purchase. Could cause you some trouble that your not yet experienced enough to deal with...
Throughly bake all wood in your microwave or oven before use, it could harbour parasites...
I would imagine they will have some red stripes running down their backs, Crestie morphs are a bit funny but generally speaking cresties look pretty cool no matter their colour or markings
A google image search on them may provide more insight. _________________ Kind Regards,

well its from a pet shop in a village just outside the city i live in, hes a friend of my aunty and breeds them so thats y he has them pretty much readly avalaible and giving me a cheaper deal than iv found newhere else, they are kept in his shop in tanks of 4 so they will b used 2 being with each other. they £75 each so hes basically throwing 1 more in if i buy the tank and stuff from him aswell (its the same high as the exo terra 1 i was getting but is as wide as it is high so theres plenty of room in there.
oh 4got 2 mention in his reptile bit of the shop u have to keep the door closed and i found out why, hes got 4 day geckos in the room roaming around lol so u have 2 close the door so he knows where in the shop they are. |

Bit strange allowing them to roam in your shop but whatever!
I dont mean to be a spoil sport but 4 juve cresties being kept together has no impact on them being put into a new environment. The set-up of the viv and the fact that there are only two can affect things.
Also when they mature your likely to get problems. Bottom line is its your decision but I know I wouldnt keep two together and I wouldn't recommend it to a new keeper either. _________________ Kind Regards,

Geckos are very different from most animals, as your about to find out! But its good fun learning, I'm sure you wont have to many sleepless nights lol.
There's nothing quite like a gecko problem to get you pulling your hair out _________________ Kind Regards,
