ok firstly im trying to sort out a trip to the vets.

ok the male i got was small when i got him and he dosent seem to b growing at all while the female is thriving.

im in a rush!!!!

ok he's very limp its like he doesent have the power to lift him self with his arms n legs he hardly moves and is very slow he lie's on his arms in ways that look very uncomfortable to me (the kinda way that would give me pin n needles)

his hands and feet r like a brown colour (he's citrus colour head is beautyful yellowie green n limeie colour) then his body appears to be normal beardie colour but his hand and feet really worry me.

his eyes seem very strange they just dont have that spark like my other beardie.

he wont bask he just sit in the shade direct on heat mat

when its feeding time (i dust with nutrabal calcium formula) he becomes very quick and turns into another reptile. he has normal crickets mealies and an asortment of veg n fruit.

clean water every other day and poop cleaned out reg.

whats wrong with my beardie????????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

so let me get this right...

He feeds fine when food is offered, but the rest of the time he is withdrawn and subdued?

Is he in the same cage as the female?

what size are they both?

Sounds like either he has a MBD of some degree or is dominanted by the cage mate (doesn't always show by aggression, can be demostrated by one hiding most of the time).

Can you seperate them at all? just to see if he improves. If you're still not convinced, take him to the vets for acheck up.

what is that in length?, with reptiles age really doesn't mean too much, I have bearded dragons reach adult size and produce fertile clutches at 6 - 7 months old.

Good luck at the vets.

is that a SVL? (tip of snout to vent) or TL? (tip of snout to end of tail)

10 - 11 cm's is the rough TL size of an average 4 week bearded dragon.
