No he never had much fat reserves if any at all i did question this in the shop but the supposed herpetologist told me it was just his age i bet he's not even male. I'm so angry that i was that gullible but i thought his viv in the shop looked immaculate he had 1 feces and it looked healthy i even witnessed him eating. My heart just overran my head.
I thought of doing that with the waxies will try it tonight.
Again thank you

Oh my god just tried Niko with the cut up waxies and he ate 2 whole wax worms I'm so pleased I'm elated that he has ate something i know i still have a long way to go and I'm still going to the vet asap but its such a relief for him to have some food in his wee belly i am over the moon its one step at least.
Thank you so much you don't know how it feels to see him lick his lips with content.

I do hate to dampen the enthuisiasm but a non eater eating waxies isn't an indication that a problem has been solved. I have found that most leo's will happily eat wax worms when not eating 'proper food' and that you may just get into a rut of feeding them waxworms to see them eat rather than finding the root cause of the problem... _________________ Kind Regards,

I am still going to to the vet as soon as i can get an appointment but that fact he has eaten means i can also get fecal sample as well as him feeling a bit more comfortable.
Thanks to everyone will keep updating on what happens.

A question that nobody has asked ...
What are the temperatures in the viv ...exactly .. not guessed.
Almost all problems with leopard geckos are to to with incorrect temperatures.
I would take out two of the hides, leaving one at each end of the viv. The inside of the hide at the hot end should be 88 - 90F.
Place a clear plastic plant saucer with some mealworms at the cool end of the viv, leave them in the viv 24/7 and change them every other day if not eaten. I would be a good idea if you counted how many you put in so it can be instantly noticed if any have been eaten.
I had some wild type leo's given to me last year that wasnt expected to last more than a few days... they are now chucking out eggs like it is going out of fashion All i did, is what I have discribed above.
On the way to recovery
Recovered
Running for cover
Feeding dish
I want more !!!

The temp and the heated end is reading 91F and the cool end is reading 78F i use a dial thermometer and a digital prob thermometer like the ones for food he has plenty of hides and a moist hide i keep the humidity in his moist hide at 80%
At night the temp at hot end is 86F and at the cool end its 75F
Thanks for the advise will give it a bash. Well done you must be so pleased your geckos are beautiful really stunning i love the dense spotted wild types.
