Hiya, may I please pick your collective brains ? Hoping to collect a female Snow Corn this weekend, if when probed the snake is a female - yes I do know all about tail length but the guy selling 'it' is not sure.... It is old enough to breed this year and so if it is a she, she will go in with my male Carolina. OK, so far so good, but please can anyone tell me if there is likely to be anything 'interesting' born in the way of colour, presuming that the male is not carrying any genes for anything other than Carolina? Or if I keep two of the babies and then breed them, would anything special be likely to then arrive? It is not important, ANY babies would be welcomed with open arms, but it would be even more exciting if different colours were involved.

Thank you in advance for your helpful replies, and advice.

Sue

Yes, so breeding the f2 together would give you more snows. Without any hets you wont get any "new" colours Smile

Snow is made up of amel and anery A, so with an amel father you'd get amel babes het anery.

Anery male, then babes anery het amel.

But if you chose a snow male, you'll get snow hatchlings.

Thats the theory part anyway lol

This are photos of my 'ordinary' corn. I do not have any Kings. Thank you all for your help, breeding is soooo exciting, my Western Hoggies are in together and so I hope for more babes from them this year - just 5 last year but it was her first year.
