well bascially my cousin (owner of the tank) bought the two 8 yr old leopard geckos from my sisters boyfriend and my cousin hasn't strip cleaned it in about 8 weeks, and he hardly ever spotpicks, the tank smells of death there is skin everywhere, beatles everywhere, and no matter how much i told him to clean the tank, he wouldn't do it, so i didnt have school today, so i thought what the hell ill clean it because the lizards were in a bad shape. So i spent like 2.5 hours cleaning this bad boy and even though i tried so hard, i can't get rid of the smell from the dead crickets. But oh well, now the tank is clean., the leos love their clean tank. The hide on the right is my favourite part, because it has so many little passage ways in the 3 pieces of wood on top of the hide, that they hide in ther all the time. My cousin was very please with the new rearrsangement when he came back, and i feel happy because i spent all my time cleaning someone elses tank _________________ Steph

I think the smell is because of the type of materials in the tank, my viv's never smell to be honest, and I clean my leo's out very rarely cos they don't really need it, I just remove the droppings every two days.
Sand and stone with a nice baking hot lightbulb seem to avoid smells... My old leo viv smelled a bit and that had slate so I guess I'm just lucky with this one _________________ Kind Regards,

i hope it was appreciated to lol. I think the smell is because he left rotting crickets underneath the tiles, and the smell must of leached into the rubber seals of the tank. _________________ Steph
