Hi Scott mine have been kept at 55 F for most of the winter break with fluctuations down to 52 and up to 58 for short periods. Fingers crossed mate and good luck with yours!

All ours are still in hibernation, very soon they will be getting woken up.

Shouldn't be long now, got things a bit wrong last year and no joy with incubation.

We have 9 females up to age this year so should be a good one if things go well.

Mine went in real late, now I'm paying the price with the warmer temps. I'm sure they hit 18c yesterday Sad

What are you aiming at on the temp Jerry?

I love Gila monsters and I want one now!!!!!!

Ok I've calmed down a bit now Laughing Laughing Laughing

Yeah maybe someday but do you HAVE to hibernate them or is it only if you breed them like brumation in snakes?

If all 9 go will be a fantastic year!I have one large proven pair and two females that might go,the rest are year or two off.Incubation seems to be an issue ,i am lucky to have a mate who has great results so i can bend his ear! Jerry, you and i spoke some years ago re our Cyclura that we obtained from the same source and regretfully with the same result re sexing. As i had only one "pair" it hardly helped any future breeding!Good luck to you all with your Gilas, regards Mickey

Well just checked mine, still hibernating.

I'm suprised they are still hissing and puffing at 10c, I reckon another 2 weeks and I'll warm them up.

You warmed yours now Jerry?
