hi
iīm not shure if my adulte female panoptes panoptes is gravide or not . the mating was at the end of dezember. but in that time i hade lowered the temperature because i was moving into a nother flat and so on. so my suggestion is, that she maybe saved the sperm for better days, when the temp is right and so on. now she is eating like a mashine and the belly is hanging to the ground. also i could see here backbone, which i couldnīt see at ehe other female. so what do you think ?? regards martin _________________ keeping: Varanus:

very possible. I would make sure she's got some suitable to lay just in case. and good luck with her. how old is she?
I'm in the same boat right now with one of my young panoptes. In fact I'm putting together a nesting box tonight because I think It may happen in the next week. here's a picture of her more than two weeks ago. She's grown since then... looks like she's about to explode.
here's a picture of my last female, one or two days before depositing her eggs.
cheers
