i keep marine fish, i have a little reef. It's very fun to manage, and interesting to watch. Marine fish have more personality than tropical in my oppinion.
I am gonna train some people i know to look after my pets, and also i will look for a pet sitter. |

i have never really got into marines, i like them but they are bit too much hassle for me. I do not agree that marines have more character, they may be prettier but you haven't seen my fish they have the same amount of character if not more. oddball tropicals have loads of character, all my large bichirs are full of character and my Asian featherfin knife and black ghost knife fish are just so beautiful and graceful. I used to own a large male purple spotted gudgeon (also called a sleeper goby) that died recently he was always giving me a quick nibble each time i put my hand in the tank. I may post pics in the other pets forum soon.
What marines do you have? _________________ Tom

ok,i suppose it fair to say that oddballs have perdsonality, and so do puffers, but community fish suck. My cleaner shrimp eats from my hand, he just sits in my palm and eats his food. |

are there any friends which have experience with reptiles that you could get to feed water etc ? i wouldnt feel too good about leaving it there for a week or more without food etc
if not there are usualy local house/pet sitters which are advertised in the papers just make sure you ask them about experience with reptiles first as some dont have a clue _________________ if you cant afford the vet, dont get the pet! |

i know a few people that could look after my reptiles, a few have reptiles too. But they are al;l going on holiday, but some will be at hyome while i am away, so i just got to ask around. I decided i don't feel too happy about letting a stranger in my house while i am away, so i won't get a pet sitter |

I went to Florida for 2 weeks leaving my girlfriend a detailed list of daily instructions. She did very well looking after 2 Royals, 2 corns, 4 leopard geckos, 4 fish tanks and my koi! She even fed the snakes which left me gobsmacked
Show someone you trust how to look after them and give them a list.

My mum can look after my leo since all it needs is crickets etc. But my gf is going to come voer every few days to give baby food to my cresty since my mum wont do that and my girlfriend has been doing it for a month or so _________________ [center]^_^
