I have been looking at those but too far for me to travel.
CPR has some males for £195 and can courier for £25.
I had a het albino male off CPR which is fantastic.

Hmmmm, what a pain in the butt. The female only weighs around 800g at the moment so she has a long way to go, I reckon I can get her to at least 1250g by the summer! She is eating an awful lot compared to the male yet she doesn't seem fat. So could someone help me out with the genetics if I had a 100% male and bred them together. Would I be looking at producing all poss 50% hets? How would I know which to hold back for breeding? Would it be better for me to try and get a 100% het female instead? Even then I am only looking at 1/4 normal 1/2 het and then a chance of 1/4 being visual? Help!!!!!!!!!!!! Confusing!

i would say go for looking to get a 100% het female, the chances of getting a visual is much better than 50 - 50 breeding..

25% should be visual, but there is always a bargain with hets.. you have a lot more chance though with a 100% because at least you know it is carrying some of the genes.. some of the 50s may not prove out to be anything..

or you could save and buy a visual Very Happy or ask mr bank

hi there,

You've been given a 50/50 chance for both male and female to carry the ghost gene.

If your male isn't carrying the gene, then you will have a 100% normal looking clutch, same with the female. It's really down to luck if you are thinking about the ghost morph with two 50% het's. Might be worth going back to the same guy and seeing if he has a 100% het male.. at least this way, eventually the law's of genetic's would fall in your favour. If you get a 100%het male, and try him with your 50% female... and all appear normal siblings, i'd keep all the female's back from that clutch.. because now there's a stronger chance that one of these female's is a gene carrier.. eventually your luck should be paid off.. If breeding two 50% hets together produces all normal's, you won't know where you stand.
