Having a bit of trouble getting the photos off one of the memory cards but here are some pics for now.
After a whole day and night of rain some large puddles formed that wasnt there before, this caused loads of frogs to appear and start breeding, there calls could be heard some distance away, after about three days they were all gone leaving behind masses of eggs.If you know what they are please post up there names.[/img] _________________ www.Reptilebreeder.co.uk

These also appeared in the same area but in much smaller numbers i presume these make foam nests as i found one near by under a piece of palm leaf. _________________ www.Reptilebreeder.co.uk

Ok you jammy bugger Dead jealous here! The top guys look very much like chubby bullfrogs Kaloula pulcher and the foamer looks like one of the Polypedates. I'll have a better look and see what I can find out for you! I bet its absolutley fantastic where you are!!!!!!!!!! _________________ Licking this cane toad was the worst flippin idea you.............whoa man that penguin just put something in your pocket. |

He he this is fun The first pic looks very much like Polypedates macrotis the third looks like P.coletti or a very dark P.leucomystax. I have to say that at the moment I have no idea about the 2nd one! I'll have to have a little thinky _________________ Licking this cane toad was the worst flippin idea you.............whoa man that penguin just put something in your pocket. |

The fat loud ones are kaloula pulchra (an introduced species). There may be a K. baleata there too.
Treefrogs are Polypedates leucomystax
The one with the stripe is Fejevarya limnocharis
And the other frog looks like the Hydrophylax chalconotus (until recently, known as Rana chalconota ) I saw in bali, so probably a different Hydrophylax species
Nice frogs. I saw some of them in Bali.
