yesterday whilst trolloing through the fields near me
I saw my fisrt common lizard for 2007!!!!
very nice sized female.suprised it was out so early!
Cool any else eemany yet?

go through the feilds on your own on a sunny day.
scan the hedgerow.look for movement youl be suprised were u will see them!.
out the back from me the is a alley with only gravel and one compost heap . they are in the compost heap!!! Cool

Have photographed Smooth Snakes in Early January and Male adders in early February.

Adders can be dim and often get caught out and freeze.

Haven't been out yet as I been on herping time in India...photos soon
