hiya i found my male leopard gecko licking his cloaca today and ive looked on the net for any sign of what it could be but only found that he might have mated with the females and was cleaning it.
i was just wondering is there any other possibilitys of what could be wrong all help appreciated  _________________ if you cant afford the vet, dont get the pet! |

I would think thats as long as it looks normal he did mate a female. Mine does this after mating which is great hygiene wise but something I try not to watch xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

cheers he seems in perfect health i havent seen him mate thou (not that i probably would neway) and ive only had him a few days could he mate in that short space of meeting them? _________________ if you cant afford the vet, dont get the pet! |

Lol as Take That said "It only takes a minute" he could have mated them almost straight away and I can't say they have loads of stamins xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

Did he go through a quarantine period before you introduced him to other geckos? |

No but only because I knew the source breeders very well and also knew their animals, none came from shops at all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
