Nice to see. Are you planning any breeding attempts?

I actually tried recently, witheld spraying for about a week and a half, dropped the humidity by about 20% then sprayed heavily for a day. No success though, perhaps I should have also dropped the temps a bit to during the dry period. Also perhaps the "rains" should have gone on for longer but had to stop spraying cos the tank was flooding! tried to get hold of recording of the males call from a S.E Asian frog expert but he didnt reply. If anyones got any tips they'd be glading appreciated.

Do you have a definate pair? Can you source some more males, make the group larger and provide some more stimuli perhaps?

the pics dont show it but the female is about 4-5 times the size of the male so yeah Im sure theyre a pair. Havent seen any of these for sale locally, although there was a lad selling some CB ones at an IHS show in Doncater last year. I would like to have another male but not sure about the space, they are in a 20gal tank at the moment.

nice- i nearly took two pairs of these recently-they had CB adults in a petshop back up north! Decided to save the space for others in the end, though they are fascinating frogs! good luck with them

We bred them at work with a relatively large group and a flooded floor. I can't say I know for sure the correct stimulation for breeding but most Polypedates require increased humidity (100%) with a temperature increase of a few degrees, and a large pool below the foam nest so the tadpoles can drop straight into the water. Transferring the foam is easy if you get it early enough, and makes raising the tadpole a hell of a lot easier.
Cool frogs and appear to be quite easy to keep, love the lemon yellow colouration on some of our subadults.
