Sand.
Tried other subs but they seem to best on sand.  |

Was wondering what substrate was in the bottom pics, looks like some kind of dirt?!
Just wondered if that was better than sand as i'm setting up a new viv |

That's dried peat.
Started to use it as a trial because sand makes a noise when grains go under the glass sliding doors.The geckos wern't bothered but i didn't like it.
Think these geckos were happier on sand so switched back.  |
