Hi folks,
Let me introduce myself my name is Piston and I live in the West Midlands and have kept various reptiles over the last 20 odd years, but my main intrest now are Royals which make up most of my collection, and I also have a few amphibs, corns, Bearded Dragons and a Bosc.
I hope I can contribute to this forum and help to keep the topics interesting and hope this forum does not turn into a site just to "slag" people off which I find other forums have resorted to.

Munchy- the names PISTON not pistol
ref : non feeders.....Now are we talking about a regular feeder who has been in captivity for some time who for some reason refuses a few feeds or a snake which has just beed imported into this country.(so called "captive farmed" ) a subject for another time.
The later may never feed due to parasites and stress.
The first thing is not to panic, weigh the snake on a regular bacis and record any weight loss, try not to distrerb the snake, place newspaper over the front of the viv so any movment by the viv will not disterb it.
Offer smaller pry then you would normally,
One method I use is to place the snake into a polly box with a freshly killed rodent , not sure if its the snake feels more secure in the polly box or the fact that its in complete darkness or a conbination of both ,but its worked for me a couple of times. There are many other methods too many to mension here [/img][/list]

as to royal not feeding i was just inquiring
tonks a cb royal and some times he feeds some times he doesn't just asking if you had any other tips
